Making an Apple Tart

Last year was really a transition. This year you must get back to things you used to like doing like baking and crafts. This weekend was the weekend you decided to tackle both of those. You stared at that simple recipe from Food and Wine. You felt very inspired to try it out. You panicked. I calls for a food processor. Who has time for that, you wonder.  Throw caution to the wind. You just used your hands which are usually pretty cold. So you didn’t worry about melting the butter.

It came out better than you expected so you were pretty pleased with yourself. You will for sure try this again remembering to strain the preserves and maybe getting a mandolin slicer to make those apple slices more even. Food Network thanks for the inspiration and for making all of us here at home think we can bake too.
